Guided Tours

On our Guided tours, you will enjoy bike touring at its best:  cycling from inn to inn while we transport your luggage for you.  Each day, after a hearty breakfast, you will receive a briefing covering the days ride, weather forecast, sights to see along the way, suggested stops for lunch, and your maps.  During your ride, we will be close by to provide any mechanical help, refill your water bottles, or give you a ride if you get a little tired. At the end of the day, we’ll secure your bikes for you, if you like, and check them over so you’ll be ready for the next day.

WHAT’S INCLUDED: 

  • Round trip van transfer between London airports and Norwich
  • Full vehicle support each day, to include all luggage transfers (inn to inn), enroute monitoring and support, daily bike maintenance
  • 7 nights accommodations at 3 or 4 Diamond Inns and Bed & Breakfast, always including fully cooked English breakfast
  • New, comfortable Trek 7100 touring bike;  2 panniers and 1 handlebar rack (if desired)
  • Navigation maps and detailed instructions
  • Discovery CycleTours water bottle and compass (yours to keep)
  • lock and chain
  • tire repair kit and spare tube

    • WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED:  helmet; gloves; rain gear; sunscreen.  Note:  you may bring your own seat and pedals.

    ITINERARY: 

  • SUNDAY Arrive in London, van transfer to Norwich.  Check in at inn, and acclimate to English time zone (EST plus 5 hours).  Explore the historic Castle or Cathedral, both a very short walk from your inn. 
  • MONDAY You will be picked up and taken to the bike shop to be fitted to your bike and begin riding (short ride on first day). Your luggage will be waiting at the first inn. 
  • TUESDAY-FRIDAY Rise at your leisure, enjoy a hot English Breakfast, leave your luggage in the lobby, and depart on your own schedule along our carefully planned route. Each day will average 30 miles, with the option to ride more or less depending on what you decide.  You decide how far and when-if you want to ride less you can take a shortcut, and if you want a longer day take one of our exciting loops.
  • SATURDAY Complete your journey with a ride into Norwich to turn in your bike before 3 pm please.  Van transfer back to London area inn near your departure airport.

  • $1499 per person, double occupancy.
  • Single traveler supplement $499.
  • $99 credit if you use your own bicycle.

    • Each tour returns to London the following Saturday.
